The Six-Branch Thobe with Birds & Ostriches
Named for the six embroidered panels that flow from the waist down each side, this design weaves together motifs and techniques from across the land. It’s a style born in the camps after our people were displaced—becoming the standard for embroidered thobes.
This vintage thobe features notable tatreez motifs like the ostrich, symbolizing groundedness and strength as well as big beautiful vases adorned with flowers alongside pigeons on the cuffs.
