The Mid-Century Velvet Nool Thobe

$325.00
sold out

The Mid-Century Velvet Nool Thobe

A radiant gem of Palestinian heritage, this mid-century Nool thobe is made from rich velvet and features exceptional hand embroidery. Worn across the West Bank and southern Palestine, Nool thobes are known for their vibrant floral and bird motifs—symbols of our connection to the land.

While Nool thobes were popular throughout the Southern half of Palestine, the wave-like patterns embroidered along the collar mark this piece as coastal—perhaps originating from Gaza or its surrounding seaside villages and cities.

The qabbah (chest panel) is richly adorned with floral motifs, showcasing the refined skill of the woman who stitched it. In pristine condition, this dress is a true collector’s item—an heirloom that carries the memory of place and Palestinian artistry.

Fit Details:
Best fits a US women’s size XS–S.
Model is 5'4", 125 lbs, and typically wears a size 2/4 in dresses.

✨ PLEASE NOTE✨
